Lindsey Larson
Lindsey Larson began her career in 1997 after graduating with honors from the Aveda Institute. She went on to hone her skills at the Juut Salon Spa Training Academy, where she began her career to become a master hairdresser. Throughout her 15 years at Juut, she was able to work with the creative team, teach and attend many business and master classes, and was certified in several different extension techniques. Later, she won first place in Juuts creative cutting competition which brought her to train in London at the Aveda Advanced Academy. In addition to her travels, being able to attend every Master Jam and Aveda Congress locally was always a priority. After many wonderful years at Juut, Lindsey decided to join a brand new salon, Bespoke Hair Artisans.
While working at a salon that featured the Intelligent Nutrients product line, she was able follow her passion of working with clean hair and skin care. As a way to broaden her career, she began to take advantage of opportunities speaking as platform presenter in several hair shows including SSPA, Minnesota Salon Professional Sessions, In-Salon Braiding, In-Salon Styling. Throughout her career, she has attended and entered in NAHA and styled hair for several fashion shows including the Curated Style Fashion Show. Lindsey has always been inspired by Horst Rechelbacher’s view of complete wellness and became certified as a yoga instructor and an Ayurvedic yoga specialist through the Himalayan Institute in 2011.
Wanting to give back to the industry she loves so deeply, she became an educator at the Aveda Institute Minneapolis where she feels inspired working with students in the magical historic space. Lindsey was fortunate enough to work at the Intelligent Nutrients flagship salon and has always been devoted to Horst’s mission.
Currently, Lindsey is working independently at the charming Urban Village Salon Spa located in Cathedral Hill neighborhood of St. Paul, she feels extremely blessed and fortunate to grow and evolve with Intelligent as a global educator.

Peter Gray
Recognized for his exceptional cutting skills and lightness of touch, Peter Gray is among the worldʼs foremost hair stylists. He rose to prominence at the end of the 1990s through innovative photographic partnerships with experimental fashion photographers including Sølve Sundsbø, Giampaolo Sgura and Richard Burbridge that established Gray as a leading force in the field of creative hair. As well as a busy and progressive practitioner, Gray is also a key proponent of environmental sustainability.
Revered in the fashion industry for his rigorous technical grounding, Grayʼs career in hair was formed at Vidal Sassoon in London, where he relocated to from South Africa in the late 1980s. He swiftly progressed through the companyʼs legendary training schemes to become their International Editorial Director, where he brought expertise and creative ideas to students and staff across the world, through teaching in their academies. This position led to a product development consultancy with Procter & Gamble that lasted until 2002, when Gray began consulting for Aveda as their International Editorial Consultant, advising on ecologically-responsible product development there for several years.
Gray is a prolific and imaginative image-maker, contributing to editorial shoots for a range of luxury and style titles including Italian, American and British Vogue, Harperʼs Bazaar, Numéro and Another Magazine. The informality and quiet conceptualism of his styling has earned him advertising campaigns for brands including Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Lanvin, Hugo Boss, Lancôme and Moschino and he has created statement runway looks for prestige fashion houses Hermès, Ungaro and Paul Smith as well as cult labels Dsquared, Junya Watanabe and Maison Martin Margiela. Grayʼs celebrity clients are equally drawn from the world of directional fashion and the creative industries, and include: Gywneth Paltrow, Claudia Schiffer, Thandie Newton and Kylie Minogue. In addition to his career in still imagery, Gray is also an accomplished motion image director. His directorial debut, ʼShoot Doris Dayʼ was the first ever music video made specifically for DVD, a collaboration with the legendary Indian film producer James Chaisty.

Fatima Olive
Global beauty expert Fatima Olive is a hair and makeup artist who works with major brands, retailers, and publications. Her artistry has graced the faces of celebrities, athletes, and models and has appeared on runways and in magazines around the world.
She discovered the transformational power of makeup and hair styling backstage in theater while growing up in Miami and parlayed her talent into a variety of beauty industry roles including product development at Aveda and national beauty expert and content creator for Macy’s and Target.
As the heart of it, Fatima is a collaborator. She is at her best when working with a team to create images for both print and motion that tell a story. When it all comes together, that’s where the magic happens.

Chad Keast
In 2011 Chad joined the master stylist team at Horst & Friends Salon, in Minneapolis, MN. This position provided Chad an unparalleled experience to work and learn alongside Aveda and Intelligent Nutrients Founder, Horst M. Rechelbacher. The tutor/mentor relationship quickly developed and soon Chad was assisting Horst on photoshoots, on stage educations as well as providing him regular haircuts. This influential bond continued until Horst’s passing in 2014.
Chad continues to share the wisdom and education that Horst imparted to him. Chad has educated salons, press/media editors and retail specialists about intelligent nutrients certified organic and environmentally conscious hair care and styling product lines.

Rudy Miles
Rudy Miles is a diverse makeup artist skilled in the beauty and fashion industries; combining his experiences with business, retail, technical artistry and skin care knowledge.
Rudy began his career in fashion as a print and runway model in Chicago which led to a job assisting new talent in developing their portfolios at John Casablancas/Elite Modeling Agency. He also studied Fashion Merchandising and Marketing at the International Academy of Merchandising and Design.
After arriving in the Big Apple in 1995, Rudy’s makeup career quickly grew after he joined the Aveda Flatiron Experience Center where his clientele included actress Susan Sarandon, singer Chaka Khan and model Karen Alexander. Rudy’s talent soon outgrew the boundaries of retail and a career in commercials, print and runway was inevitable.
His extensive travels have landed him to almost every continent. While in the Brazilian rainforest, Rudy visited the Yawanawa village learning their sacred art of face and body painting which became a part of the Aveda Makeup packaging for Uruku products. Rudy also created makeup looks for EDUN while shooting in Uganda.
As makeup team leader at New York’s fashion week, Rudy has created runway looks for designers Zang Toi, Malan Breton, Sherri Hill, Meghan Walsh, Oscar de la Renta, Katie Ermilio, Reem Acra, Perry Ellis, and EDUN. Rudy and his team have also created looks for the Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana boutiques.
Rudy has beautified Mara Brock Akil, Teresa Edwards, Kirstie Alley, Kendall Jenner, Camila Alves, Nana Meriwether, Sela Ward, Paris Hilton, Nicole Hilton, Victoria Gotti and Jill Zarin. Male grooming includes Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels, Matthew McConaughey, Josh Lucas and Cory Stearns.

Hilary Bilstad Nelson
At 17 years of age, Hilary made the move from Cheyenne, Wyoming to New York City studying and receiving her early education in cosmetology from the Aveda Institute (2003). Through her work with her mentor, Jillian Dempsey, founder of Delux Beauty, she found inspiration and courage. In 2004, she embarked on what would be an intensive, fulfilling career at ARROJO as one of the first formal apprentices. This was an intensive four year hands on education in the craft of classic precision based scissor cutting and a revolutionary straight edge razor cutting technique. This education of distinction gave Hilary a master skillset and afforded her numerous platforms. They included, but are not limited to the following: cutting educator, ARROJO, cutting educator, Wella, cutting educator, Master of Beauty, Empire Beauty Schools, cutting educator, Goldwell.
Praised in Timeout New York for “Best Men’s Haircuts”, Hilary is a world-class precision based scissor and razor cutter. Hilary has graced countless sets, photoshoots and stages. Most notably as personal stylist to Carole Radziwill, on-set stylist for Bravo’s Real Housewives Of New York, and at Goldwell’s Color Zoom in Berlin where she dazzled the crowd of over 5,000. Hilary’s strength of character compelled her to organize a fundraiser with the Michael J. Fox Foundation, called “Primping for Parkinson's”. Through engagement and community outreach close to $80,000 was raised for research and cure. The Michael J Fox MVP awards recognized her with honor.
After 18 years in New York City and building her own brand and business as an independent stylist for the last five years, Hilary recently relocated to the Twin Cities. She will be operating her own chair at Sloan’s Beauty Bar in Minneapolis. Hilary has numerous industry and professional affiliations including Educator for IntelligentTM I-N, supporting their network of salons, retailers and global distributors.
