BAD GOOD By now, more consumers are aware that “Fragrance” is all that any cosmetic company needs to list on its label to protect supposed trade secrets. But… you might see “NATURAL FRAGRANCE” listed and feel better. Not so fast. The term “natural” is quite general in FDA-speak. It just means there is some natural raw material in the mix. Naturals that were likely cultivated with hazardous pesticides. Synthetic scents are irritants and worse. There could be petroleum in the mix, animal ingredients or the neurotoxins and other pollutants that science has made smell deceptively good. That’s why we think “perfume” stinks. Our aromas are made solely from essential oils, often certified organic. Not just because they smell great, but because they also have inherent benefits to you and your skin. Further, full disclosure is our standard. We list every ingredient in our aromas, and hope other companies will do the same to ensure safer, healthier products. We work hard – third party certified level hard — to be sure our products live up to a truly non-toxic standard.
