1. Can I take more than one Intelligent Nutrients supplement as part of my daily regimen?
   Yes, all the supplements may be used together. Any danger of “overdosing” is remote for healthy adults. Some ingredients such as fat-soluble vitamins and some minerals such as zinc can be toxic at too high a level. These ingredients, however, are used at only low levels in the Intelligent Nutrients supplement line. Remember, however, that taking a relaxation product at the same time as an energizing product will result in not feeling the effects of either. One could take an energizing product in the morning and a relaxation product later that evening and still feel the intended product benefits. Also, it is always recommended that you speak to your physician before starting any supplementation program.
2. What makes Intelligent Nutrients products different from those of other companies?
   IN products incorporate certified organic and harmonically grown™ ingredients. They unite ancient global wisdom on the use of herbs with state-of-the-art science. IN products offer creative formulations, the highest quality ingredients and products that work.
3. What about taking IN products while I’m taking medication?
   Always consult with your health care provider before starting any program of nutritional supplementation.
4. Are IN products approved by the FDA?
   IN products do not require approval by the FDA, although individual ingredients may have been reviewed and are recognized as safe for use. All of the product Nutrition Facts are available online at Nutrition Facts.
5. Can I use IN products as a pre- or post-natal vitamin?
   As with any medical condition, it is extremely important to consult with your health care provider before starting a program of nutritional supplementation. This is especially true during pregnancy. Many doctors have approved our daily adult supplement, Nutribase, for use before and after pregnancy, however it is not advised that you do so unless you have approved this with your physician.
6. Do IN products have an expiration date?
   Most of our products have a shelf life of 2-3 years provided they are kept in normal temperatures and the inner blister pack is not torn or broken. Even after 2-3 years our products DO NOT become toxic, but the nutritional value percentage would not be guaranteed. Each product has a series of numbers and a letter that determines the date it was manufactured. There are lot codes on each package of an Intelligent Nutrients product.

Nutribase^®

1. Why is the daily dose 3 caplets?
   If Nutribase® were made with only 25 synthetically derived ingredients it would be one small pill. Nutribase is “above and beyond” more familiar vitamin/mineral formulations. It contains 162 ingredients including organically grown herbs that can be bulky and take up space. Think of this comprehensive formula as supporting the gaps in your daily diet. Calcium especially takes up a lot of space and there is a good amount of calcium in Nutribase. We also have 26 fruit and vegetable concentrates in the product. We believe in getting the most out of our supplements. We do not believe in packing as much as possible in one pill; we design the caplets so that the body will actually be able to digest them, so you can be sure your body is getting the most it can out of a vitamin.
2. Do I have to take them with meals?
   Good news for busy people: Nutribase is carefully time-released and may be taken all at once. However, it would be ideal to take one tablet with each meal. In addition to its many other ingredients, Nutribase contains digestive enzymes. These enzymes help in the process of digesting and getting the most nutrition out of the food you eat..

Intelliderm^®

1. Glucosamine is from shellfish, right? What if I’m allergic to shellfish?
   Glucosamine, the main ingredient in Intelliderm, is a remarkable ingredient. The glucosamine Intelligent Nutrients uses is derived from corn, not shellfish. IN has chosen to use this naturally-derived ingredient because we believe it is more effective and safe for the body. Intelliderm contains no animal or marine life ingredients and is vegetarian.
2. How soon will I see results?
   Some skin types can experience increased moisture in as little as 3 days. Other skin changes in suppleness and clarity can occur over a 1-6 month period.

Metabotherm^®

1. Is it safe?
   Metabotherm provides a safe and gentle boost to your daily energy level. Metabotherm contains green tea, which has naturally-occurring caffeine and Yerba Mate, which, as the national drink of Argentina and Paraguay, also gives an energy boost. Metabotherm also contains ingredients that comprise a thermogenic blend of herbs which may help to boost a weight management program.
2. I’ve heard some things about chromium, is it safe?
   Chromium is a necessary trace mineral that is deficient in some American soils and is safe at the recommended dosages. Some studies in which chromium has been tested used chromium piccolinate at a dose 6,000 times the daily recommended value. Chromium Polynicotinate is the niacin-bound form of chromium, which is a very safe and potent form of chromium that binds the mineral to vitamin B-3 (niacin) to increase its effectiveness.
3. What does “thermogenic blend of herbs” mean?
   The thermogenic blend of herbs in Metabotherm is a blend of cayenne pepper, English mustard seed, green tea, yerba mate and hyssop to help compliment the effects of exercise. These ingredients work to “heat” the body and muscles and burn up calories. Thermogenesis carries that same principle.

Aquabalance^®

1. Do I need to take it daily for symptoms of monthly bloating?
   Aquabalance can be taken on an as-needed basis to control symptoms of occasional bloating or water retention. Take it with a tall glass of water. Results can be felt within 30-45 minutes after Aquabalance is ingested.
2. Will Aquabalance dehydrate me?
   Although aquabalance contains a mild diuretic, the body will not feel dehydrated after taking this product. We recommend drinking a tall glass of water after taking the caplets to help the body speed up the cleansing process.
3. Will Aquabalance make me go to the bathroom often?
   There should not be any increased urge to urinate from this product. After taking the first two caplets with a glass of water, there may be an initial urge 30 minutes after taking Aquabalance. This is mostly because of the tall glass of water that was just consumed.

Intellicalm^®

1. Will Intellicalm make me tired?
   Many products for relaxation also make one feel sleepy. Intellicalm contains Panax Ginseng, which allows the body to relax and release muscle tension while increasing mental abilities and the ability to focus. This is a perfect product to take during the day or while at work, as it should not cause drowsiness.
2. How often can I take Intellicalm?
   As with all IN products, never exceed the recommended dosage on the label. Intellicalm does not have to be taken on a daily basis to feel the benefits of the product and may be taken on an “as needed” basis for immediate results.
3. How long will the results last?
   People vary in their response. Many people begin to feel the effects in as little as 30 minutes and then continuing for 4 to 12 hours.

1. What makes Intellikids different from other children’s vitamins on the market?

Innerharmony^®

1. Will Innerharmony interfere with birth control pills?
   With the use of any prescription medication, consult your health care provider before starting any program of nutritional supplementation. Many doctors have approved Innerharmony for use while on birth control pills, but this is a decision to be determined by each woman and her health care provider.
2. Can Innerharmony be used by women taking estrogen replacement therapy?
   With the use of any prescription medication, consult your health care provider before starting any program of nutritional supplementation. Many doctors are becoming more familiar with the use of phytoestrogens, such as those contained in Innerharmony, as a gentle supplement to estrogen therapy.
3. Can I just take Innerharmony on the days that I need it?
   Innerharmony is a product that must be taken at the full dose (3 caplets daily) and continuously for best results. Because Innerharmony works with a woman’s hormone cycle, no effects will be felt after a one-time use.

1. Do I have to take Daily Cheer every day to feel its effects?
   Daily Cheer can be taken every day for a total feeling of wellness, but it can also be taken as needed to feel the uplifting/energizing effects of Vinpocetine. Vinpocentine alerts the brain and helps with mental clarity and focus.
2. Will St. John’s Wort have an adverse effect when used in conjunction with birth control pills?
   Please consult with a physician in regards to interactions with any contraceptive, as well as before taking any Intelligent Nutrients product.

Green Tea Polyphenols

1. Does green tea prevent cancer?
   There is no conclusive evidence that Green Tea cures or prevents cancer of any type. However, there is a great deal of research documenting the role green tea has in protecting cells from free radicals. Intelligent Nutrients highly encourages people to conduct their own research on the benefits of green tea and to research information surrounding green tea and disease prevention.
2. Does green tea lower cholesterol?
   There are studies that have linked Green Tea to lower cholesterol when used daily. However, please consult with a physician before attempting to use green tea as an alternative to, or in conjunction with, cholesterol medications and/or prescriptions.
3. Will green tea help me lose weight?
   There are some studies that have linked green tea to weight loss. Green tea may in fact help lower cravings for sweet, sugary foods and help energize workouts.
4. Will this product keep me awake at night?
   Green Tea Polyphenols aim to deliver an antioxidant benefit and energy and does contain naturally occurring caffeine. Although the amount of caffeine in our green tea capsules is significantly lower then that in a cola or cup of coffee, it is not advised to take this product before bedtime if one has a caffeine sensitivity.

1. What does Anatomy^® taste like?

1. What does "Fair Trade Certified" mean?
   Fair Trade certification guarantees farmers from developing nations a fair price for their goods, ensuring that they can support their families and make a living wage from their work. It encourages sustainable farming practices and creates direct links between farmers, their cooperatives and the end consumer. It encourages other farmers from developing nations and communities to organically certify their fields and create a better community.
2. What does "shade grown" mean?
   Shade grown means that the environment in which a crop is grown supports the natural habitat of migratory birds and wildlife. It encourages the natural ecosystem of the region to be left undisturbed. Shade Grown ensures that “clear cutting” does not take place. Clear cutting of forests and jungles causes crops to be grown in direct sunlight. These crops are grown with the help of fertilizers, chemicals and pesticides and, when harvested, the fields they were grown in are burned and the mineral content of the soil destroyed. Shade Grown coffee not only supports wildlife, but also allows for a much sweeter, flavorful coffee bean that is healthier and more pleasant to taste.
3. What is Swiss Water Decaffeination?
   Unlike most decaffeinated coffees which are decaffeinated using harsh and harmful chemicals, the Swiss Water decaffeination process uses only heat and hot water to decaffeinate coffee beans. This process is not only healthier for human consumption, but also allows for a better tasting, full-flavored cup of coffee.

1. What is different about this product compared to a regular breath mint?
   Regular breath mints are loaded with sugar. Sugar actually dehydrates the body, which in turn dries up the saliva in the mouth that suppresses bacteria. Ultimately, conventional breath mints make bad breath, or halitosis, worse. In-Tune does not contain any artificial sweeteners or sugar. Licorice is a natural sweetner. IN-Tune does not contain any artificial flavors. Its refreshing mint flavor comes from natural peppermint to invigorate and refresh the senses.
2. IN-Tune doesn’t taste like the licorice I’m used to.

   Innercalm chocolate is 100% organic and made with 74% cocoa mass. Most chocolate contains less than 10% cocoa mass, with the remaining ingredients being milk and wax. The dutching process actually takes away much of cocoa’s antioxidant value.
